‘Church Night’ to debut September 15

If you are like me, it happens quite a lot! Ever wondered why everyone else seems to be engaged in some church related activity on Wednesdays and you’re not? Well, wonder no more!! You are invited to be a part of a new and exciting ministry in the life of First Church. Beginning Wednesday, September 15, we are going to experience our own “Church Night.’’

Church Night (or Agape Ministries) is a midweek opportunity for fellowship, spiritual growth and education. We will begin at 6 p.m. with a simple meal – $3/person, $10 max/family – and then move on to the night’s activity. The Rev. Dr. Janine Wilson will begin our experience by leading a six-week study on “Spiritual Disciplines.’’

As interest develops and leadership emerges, more opportunities will be added. And yes, child care will be provided.
