Services
Morning Prayer &
Holy Communion at 9 a.m.
This casual, inclusive service offers communion each Sunday. The service ends at 9:45 a.m., so participants can attend Faith Formation. Lay leadership helps with the liturgy, prayer, and serving communion.
Worship at 11 a.m..
Worship is held in our beautiful Gothic-style sanctuary. The church has two magnificent pipe organs that lead the congregation into worship, accompany congregational songs and send people out rejoicing.
Choral Evensong
Third Sunday of each month in Sanctuary as advertised. This meditative service of light, music, and prayer is led by the First Church Choir. This service is a quiet, peaceful way to end the busy day.
Special Services
First Church also gathers for worship on Christmas Eve with a traditional youth-led nativity pageant held early in the evening and a candle-light service at 11 p.m. Other worship services include Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter.

Holy Communion
Communion is offered each Sunday at our 9 a.m. service in the Parish Hall, on the first Sunday of each month at our 11 a.m. service, as well as on special occasions. We invite to the table all persons who acknowledge faith that Jesus Christ, Son of God, is God’s sign of redeeming grace. Children are also welcome at the table, according to the customs and preferences of their families.
Children in Worship
Children of all ages are welcomed and encouraged at First Church as they play a vital part in both worship services. They joyfully serve communion at our 9 a.m. service, act as acolytes and crucifers at the 11 a.m service, sing in the choir, make friends in their Faith Formation classes, and participate in Children’s Time.
